Manipulator Arm – The OiS 5 Axis Electric Manipulator Arm is a robust, electronic manipulator arm with 5 functions. Similar to a human arm, the OiS 5 Axis arm consists of:

• one shoulder, fixed part to be secured to a support.
• an arm
• a forearm
• a clamp (similar form to a hand)

The motions between each part, numbering 5, are:

• 1 – a “shoulder” motion
• 2 – an “arm” movement
• 3 – a “forearm” movement
• 4 – a “clamp rotation” motion
• 5 – a “clamp opening / closing” movement

Each movement has been optimized to be powerful, fluid, and precise.

The frame of the Netflix has been designed and developed in such a way that the front patch holder can be removed, and additional tools can be attached to the same frame. This way the customer has a range of available tools that he can used without needing to purchase any other frame. Just one frame with multiple tools.

For use with caught or tangles items around propellers, hull, pens, cutting centre lines, when a sharp tool is required to cut any ropes.

The carabiner attachment for ROV’s makes recovering subsea items straightforward and efficient. Simply hook on to the required item, thrust back to release the safe to get the carabiner attached. And additional thrust back will release the carabiner from the ROV frame.

The rope loop attaches tool can be used to get a rope threaded around something without needing a diver. A simple forward and backward motion of the ROV gets the rope threaded around chains and other objects easily.

The simple hook can be used to easily remove a rope or an object with the ROV.  With just a simple operation forward and backward a rope or object can be held by the hook.

The simple hook tool can be complemented by a rope cutter, allowing the cutting of entangled ropes.  When the rope is in the hook, it can be cut by the tool’s blade. The simple hook tool can be complemented by a rope cutter, allowing the cutting of entangled ropes.

The open rope cutter allows the cutting of ropes in a simple and fast operation.

The hook can be used to easily recover soft objects than can be secured by hooking it. A reverse thrust of the ROV allows the hook to be set and then release it to detach it from the ROV while keeping it attached to the surface line.

The pressure washing jet tool can be used to carry out some high pressure, underwater cleaning. Aligned with the camera so you get a clear vision of where you’re cleaning.
